Musharraf Has Declared Martial Law in Pakistan.
If you didn’t check out that interview with Dr. Barnett Rubin (below) I posted a few weeks ago, you should check it out now. He mentions that Bush keeps talking about how dangerous it would be for nuclear weapons to fall into the hands of terrorists – yet the most likely place for that to happen is Pakistan (which has nuclear weapons) (and where Al Qaeda and the Taliban are headquartered). Now we are stuck propping up a nuclear-armed government that has so little support among its own people that it must declare martial law in order to survive. So much for “spreading democracy.”
Meanwhile, our troops are bogged down in a place that has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the people who attacked us on 9-11.
Go. Check out what a guy who knows what he is talking about is saying. The phrase he uses to describe Bush is “dereliction of duty.”
The phrase I’d use is, “Why doesn’t some Democrat mention this?”
