Hello. it’s me
I haven’t posted anything lately, so I’m saying hi. I haven’t felt the impulse to write to David Brooks lately, although I still read his column. So either he’s changing or I’m changing. It could be that I’m slowly returning to sanity, but when I think about it that seems like an even stranger fantasy than my other fantasies. I’m reading Paul Krugman’s Conscience of a Liberal right now. An interesting book because he doesn’t make any attempt at pretending that he’s non-partisan. It’s hard to think that the book will have much traction. It would be refreshing to see liberal thought that would bring in people by the busload, even Jimmy Paint and Stuff, but I’ll believe that when I see it. Until then we’ll have to stick with the Book of Job, I guess. Although I’m getting weary of the bees and hornets stinging me in my asshole all the time. I’m kidding here, they’re not really stinging me in my asshole. I have been able to take succor [is this a word?] ofcourse in professional and college sports.The university of Illinois has a coach, Zook, who is second to none in corruption, so we’ll soon be in the 21st century.Until that time it’s tally-ho and away we go!
